Ease into your morning with Walker Park Community Yoga, a calming, community-centered yoga class. This outdoor class follows a set sequence, offering a familiar rhythm each week that helps you build strength, flexibility and confidence over time.
Whether you are new to yoga or returning to the mat, this class provides a welcoming, steady space to recharge your body and mind.

A 6-week course modeled on the military's boot camp, but with instructors that encourage--not humiliate. This class is intense but geared toward all fitness levels, from couch potato to tri-athlete! Start your weekend with intention, breath, and movement in nature. This 50-minute outdoor vinyasa yoga class is designed for all bodies and experience levels—whether you’re brand new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.

Classes are led by Tracy Cooper and Colleen Stumbo from Namaste Yoga Studio alternating weekly. This accessible, energizing flow will gently awaken your body and mind, helping you connect with the earth beneath you and the community around you. Modifications (bring your own mat water and towel) are encouraged to support your unique practice.

Come as you are, breathe in the morning air under the trees, and help us kick off the weekend, open, and fully present.

What a great way to get out and enjoy beautiful fall weather in Kirkwood Park! We will be offering hayrides for groups (maximum of 20 riders). Fee includes 30-minute hayride followed by 45 minutes at a bonfire, complete with s'mores for 20. Feel free to bring a picnic dinner to enjoy around the bonfire (no glass bottles please). Santa’s reindeer have been busy dropping candy canes in Kirkwood Park! Everyone will get a goodie bag and have an opportunity to snap a picture with Santa! Come early to decorate a hunting bag. Check-in begins at 9:30 am. Candy Cane Hunt begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Ages 2-10. Separate hunting areas for ages 2-4 and 5-10. This is a rain or shine event.
