Ages 12 months-3 years. Swimmers with little or no experience will be taught water safety, floating, kicking, arm strokes, blowing bubbles, and object recovery. Parent is in water with child. Class takes place in the family pool in 3-4 feet of water. No Class on June 29th - July 4th.

Ages 2.5-4 years. For participants with little or no experience. Skills taught include water safety, floating, bubbling, kicking, arm strokes and object recovery. Child needs to easily separate from parent. Class takes place in Family pool in 4 feet of water. No Class on June 30st - July 4th.

Ages 4-6 years. For participants who have completed Sea Horse or can put their face in the water for at least three seconds. Skills taught include water safety, front kicking, object recovery, bobbing, back float, front crawl and intro to using a kick board. Class takes place in the Family Pool with a 2 foot ledge and up to 4 feet deep. No Class on June 30st - July 4th.

Make a splash at Flip Flop Fridays, an after‑hours pool party for kids of all ages packed with music, games, and prizes. Kids 11 and under must bring their favorite adult to join in the fun. Chill in the shallow end, jump into games, or hang out in the dry zone with friends. Space is limited, so grab your crew, your swimsuit, and register early!

Join Flip Flop Fridays on June 26, July 24, and August 7 from 7:30–9:30 p.m.—three epic pool nights you won’t want to miss. Pre‑register to save: Residents $20, Non‑Residents $25, and Season Pass holders get a 50% discount; day‑of admission is $25 for everyone.

Rising 1st graders (as of Fall 2026). Come join in the fun! Kirkwood's oldest camp program is full of exciting games and activities, arts and crafts, STEM projects, nature exploration, all-camp theme days, swimming twice a week, and a different field trip each week. Space in each grade is limited, so sign up today! Bring a lunch, sunscreen, and water daily. 3-week sessions.
