Rising Kindergarteners (as of Fall 2026). Offered as a full-day camp, this program will give your little one a chance to interact with other kids their age, have fun, and get ready for a full day of school! This newly reimagined camp includes two swim lessons per week followed by time at the aquatic center to get them acquainted with the water and pool safety! We will also go on a different weekly field trip and play plenty of fun games and activities in the park and community center. Bring a lunch, sunscreen, and water daily. 3-week session. No camp held 7/3.

Rising 1st-6th Graders (as of Fall 2026). Need an extended camp day to accommodate your work schedule? We've got you covered! Campers can be dropped off anytime between 7:30 & 9:30 a.m. Mon-Fri. This time is unstructured but supervised with activities like board games, crafts, sports, and movies in the afternoon.

Rising 7th & 8th Graders (as of Fall 2026). Spend time with new and old friends and enjoy two field trips and three swim days per week. Plus arts and crafts, STEM activities, and sports! Please note: We've planned plenty of fun activities, so enjoy some time unplugged and keep the phones put away! Drop off at Kirkwood Park Campbell Pavilion. Bring a lunch and water daily. No camp held 7/3.

Rising 1st-6th Graders (as of Fall 2026). One of our most popular camps, with two sessions offered! Explore a new destination each day, plus cool off at the pool one afternoon. We are keeping the field trips a surprise but we are sure you'll have a great time exploring St. Louis and making new camp friends along the way! Different field trips each week. Bring a lunch, sunscreen, and water daily.

Rising 1st-6th Graders (as of Fall 2026). Each day of this weeklong camp, we will visit a "foodie" destination around St. Louis, so be sure to bring your appetite and sweet tooth! We will also swim at the Kirkwood Aquatic Center twice throughout the week. Plus, we will have food-themed activities and games all week (a camper favorite- can you tell the difference between name brand and store brand cereals?!) Please note: full lunch is not provided, only snacks, so please bring a lunch daily (along with water and sunscreen).

Rising 1st-6th Graders (as of Fall 2026). The summer is drawing to a close and you still haven't gotten your fill of time at the pool? Spend three days soaking up some sun at the Kirkwood Aquatic Center before exploring two other pools around St. Louis to finish off the week. Plus, this camp includes a camper favorite, our cardboard boat float in the lazy river! Bring a lunch, sunscreen, and water daily.

Ages 8-15. Kirkwood Youth Theatre Camp: If you love to sing and dance, and meet other kids who share your love of musical theatre, this camp is for you! Spend two weeks inside the Robert G. Reim Theater learning from a professional director, musical director, and choreographer to improve your acting, singing, and dancing skills. Camp concludes with a matinee performance and evening performance, where friends and family can enjoy the show after all the hard work you’ve put in, complete with costumes, sets, and sound in a real working theater. If you are interested in a lead role, please send in your virtual audition video by June 1 (details will be
emailed out by May 1). Cast provides their own costumes but these will be kept simple and easy! Camp also includes an afternoon swimming at Kirkwood Aquatic Center and outdoor play time/down time between rehearsals. Bring lunch, sunscreen, and water bottle daily.

Inspired by YOU! Children create their own art projects inspired by the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals & causes they are passionate about. Inspired by the art of Pablo Picasso, children create art to show their expressions of peace.

Magic Self-Portraits & Story Quilts
Inspired by the art of Frida Kahlo, kids will create their own self-portraits in the style of magic realism to express their inner selves. Inspired by the art of Faith Ringgold, children create their own story quilt design.

Pop Art & Cut and Paste
Inspired by the art of Andy Warhol. Kids create a layered painting in the style of his silkscreen prints. Later, inspired by the art of Hannah Höch. It’s all about cutting, tearing, arranging, and gluing photos!

Wishing Trees & Art for the People
Inspired by the art of Yoko Ono, kids create paper tree sculptures inspired by Ono’s Wish Trees. Inspired by the art of Keith Haring, we will create our own dancing characters and iconic symbols from Keith Haring, one of the most famous street artists.

Miss Manners might not approve, but your child definitely will! Super Gross Science Camp is a week packed with wonderfully icky experiments, fascinating body science, and wild chemistry. From fizzy, gassy reactions and bubbling concoctions to the mysteries of burps, boogers, and blood, campers will explore the science behind some of the messiest—and most amazing—phenomena. Along the way, they’ll dive into chemistry, biology, and even a little forensic science, with plenty of hands-on experiments and take-home projects.

Cleaning Up Crime
Become a forensic scientist and learn the science behind solving a crime! Campers will solve their own CSI mystery and eat homemade ice cream.

Fizzy, Gassy Reactions
What do stomach acids do? Find out with our popper stoppers and liquid ooze. Discover how a clock can run on soda or water without batteries.

Ooey Gooey Insides
Investigate the insides of Tall Paul. Make boogers that you can hold. Learn about the digestive process and take home edible excrement.

Slimy Chemistry
Make a lemon battery, electroplate a penny and conduct electrochemistry with goldenrod paper. Clean up your own germs with soap and “exploding toothpaste” and then get dirty again with slime.

Slippery Science of Cells
Learn about what makes up a cell and about your inherited traits like your sense of taste. Discover what burps are made of with dry ice. Take home your own edible DNA and kids lab coat.
