Join us at the sugar creek pavilion for a pizza party, followed by a flashlight dance party, and an adventurous Halloween egg hunt in Kirkwood Park under the night sky. This outdoor event is held rain or shine, so make sure to dress accordingly and bring a flashlight, along with a basket or bag. Halloween costumes are encouraged. Come and show off your NERF skills! Join us for an action-packed NERF War at the Community Center featuring team-based games, exciting challenges, and plenty of friendly competition. Participants must provide their own NERF blaster and protective eyewear. We will provide NERF darts that fit most standard NERF equipment. 5th Annual Kirkwood Spooktacular, is taking place on October 28th at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. This family-friendly "Trunk or Treat" event provides a wonderful opportunity for kids to showcase their Halloween costumes while strolling through a festive candy walk.
During the candy stroll, local businesses and organizations have the chance to engage with the community by distributing candy and promotional materials in a fun and interactive setting. If you would like to be a vendor please sign up below.

Event Description:
Dress up in your Halloween best and join us for a candy stroll at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. Make sure to bring your own candy bag to collect lots of sweet treats! Come and celebrate the winter season with Kirkwood Parks & Recreation at the Hot Coco Fun Run held in Kirkwood Park! All participants, ages 6-15 years old, will receive a warm cup of hot cocoa as they complete the 1 mile loop run which will begin at 11:10 am. The first three participants to complete the course will receive a special award. This is a rain or shine event.

All Ages. It's a dog egg hunt, with a scavenger hunt twist! Your personalized doggie bag, along with some treats hidden in eggs, will be hidden in Fillmore Park. Arrive anytime between 6:00 and 6:30 pm to sniff out your treat bag and socialize with other dogs, and snap a photo with your pup at our photo-op area. Pre-registration required by 3/22 at Noon.

Get your pup in the holiday spirit with a festive treat hunt just for dogs! Your dog’s personalized stocking, filled with treats and a special toy, at Kirkwood Park! You can arrive anytime between 12:00 noon - 12:30 pm to sniff out your stocking and mingle with other festive pups. After your dog finds their stocking, stop by our holiday photo station for a picture with Santa in Kirkwood Park! This is a rain or shine event.

Bring some joy to your friends or family by having the recreation department “plant” 100 candy canes in their yard, courtesy of the Gingerbread Man himself. Kirkwood residents can haul down the clutter from their attics and treasures from their garages for the Kirkwood Rummage Sale. The rummage sale will be held at the Kirkwood Recreation Center’s Gymnasium on April 3rd, 2026, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. All of the usual rummage sale items can be found throughout the sale as well as some unique finds. There is sure to be a treasure with your name on it! Returning vendors can now register through our online system, only available until January 30th.

• Do not create a new account. Only vendors who have participated before can apply using their existing accounts.
• To log in, use your previously created account. Your username will be your email address, and your default password is your phone number.

If you do not register by January 30th, you will be considered a new vendor and will need to submit an application through the application page at www.greentreefestival.com.
