Santa’s reindeer have been busy dropping candy canes in Kirkwood Park! Everyone will get a goodie bag and have an opportunity to snap a picture with Santa! Come early to decorate a hunting bag. Check-in begins at 9:30 am. Candy Cane Hunt begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Ages 2-10. Separate hunting areas for ages 2-4 and 5-10.

Ages 5-12. Spend your day off school at our DIY Holiday Workshop at the Kirkwood Community Center! Choose your very own elf name and create handmade gifts for someone special. We'll provide all the materials you need to craft unique presents and even teach you how to wrap them, keeping your creations a surprise until they're opened!!

Come and celebrate the winter season with Kirkwood Parks & Recreation at the Hot Cocoa Fun Run held in Kirkwood Park! All participants, ages 6-15 years old, will receive a warm cup of hot cocoa and a treat as they complete the 1 mile loop. The first three participants to complete the course will receive an special award. Please pre-register by Dec. 9th. NO WALK-UP REGISTRATION AVAILABLE

Surprise your loved ones this holiday season with a sweet and festive treat: a gingerbread man candy gram! Bring some joy to your friends or family by having the recreation department “plant” 100 candy canes in their yard, courtesy of the Gingerbread Man himself. It's a delightful way to spread holiday cheer and make someone’s day a little brighter. Candy Grams will be delivered between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on your selected date. You must register at least three days prior to your selected delivery date. (Kirkwood /Glendale residents only)
